The location of Brabourne Cricket Stadium is in Mumbai. Before Wankhede, it served as the home field for the Mumbai Indians. It can accommodate 50,000 people for different cricket matches. Brabourne is one of the oldest stadiums in India. It has been home to international cricket for many years. Brabourne hosted the ICC Champions Trophy in 2006. It was also the host of the first T20 international in 2007. The Test match established a new world record for the longest gap between two Tests at the same ground. The stadium served as a backup home ground for the franchise Rajasthan Royals back in 2015. Though it stopped becoming the host for Test matches long back, a Test match was held at Brabourne in 2009.
