RR vs GT: 24th IPL Match Prediction 2024

RR vs GT 24th IPL Match Prediction

RR vs GT: Rajasthan Royals are atop the standings, having won each of their first four tournament games. Except for a pivotal moment during the match against DC, when their top order failed as a unit, the Royals have not faced many difficulties.

And Gujarat Titans, their upcoming opponent, might provide them with the challenge they seek. The Titans are the runners-up from the previous season. They may not have had a spectacular start to the current one. They haven’t yet found their best playing lineup. They have only managed two victories in five games. The Titans’ injury and form problems make them appear anything but settled. However, they’ll be eager to play the Royals, who have a winning head-to-head record versus the Gujarat Titans.

Rajasthan Royals will be playing at their home ground. They will not let down the home fans and will grab every opportunity to win this match.

RR vs GT: Match Overview

Rajasthan Royals

The reason the Rajasthan Royals are where they are is because someone steps up to play when the team needs it. Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag took it upon themselves to lead their team to a competitive total after the top order collapsed. Especially Parag has matured and matured enough to play a deep innings, giving their bowlers enough runs to pressure the opposition and force them to play on the back foot.

The innings that Ravichandran Ashwin played against DC is a great illustration of the Royals’ dedication to figuring out a way to win. Taking the attack to star bowlers Nortje and Kuldeep, he came into bat when the Royals were facing some trouble against DC at 3/36 in the eighth over.

This gave DC’s lethargic innings a tremendous boost and they finished with a score that was above average, 185. Even though he hasn’t taken as many wickets as he would have preferred, he is still pleased to help the team in any way he can, whether it be by making quick runs or keeping the center of the field tight.

Jos Buttler received unwavering support from the backroom crew and management. He delivered what the team required at that point in time.

Gujarat Titans

Gujarat Titans had the worst start to the IPL campaign. They have only 2 wins under their belt from the 5 matches they played. Their brief existence hasn’t brought any impact to the IPL enthusiasts and the fans yet. Since their ex-captain Hardik Pandya left the squad for Mumbai, Shubhman Gill, the current skipper hasn’t been able to find a rhythm.

Luck was on their side when they managed to prevail in the encounter against Mumbai in the opener. The visitors found themselves in a slippery terrain when fought against GT at their home ground.

It was Sunrisers Hyderabad who faced the wrath of GT when they found their form. GT were exceptional in their match against SRH. The Titans reminded the crowd who they were and what they were capable of in that match. Both departments did their part with finesse. The bowlers tamed the SRH batting line up with their ultimate strategies while the batters punished the SRH bowlers with no mercy.

The Titans remained pretty mediocre other than this. However, Shubhman Gill could find some form with a brilliant knock (89 off 48).

RR vs GT: Pitch Report

The Sawai Mansingh Stadium is known to be a bowling pitch. Therefore, the batters will have to take extra precautions to shine well. The last time they met at this venue, it did not go well for the Royals. Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad destroyed the Royals for a mere 118 runs. The top batting trio of the Titans made sure they won the match with much ease.

RR vs GT: Weather Report

At this venue, dew factors in a lot when it comes to match conditions. Dewy conditions aided in the victory of Rajasthan Royals against Royal Challengers Bangalore in their previous match. The same can be expected in this match as well. The weather is hot and humid in the evening, however, the temperature seems to drop in the night resulting in dew and moisture.

RR vs GT: Toss Prediction

Since the Sawai Mansingh pitch caters more to the bowling department, the team that prefers to bowl first will have an upper hand. Rajasthan Royals won twice here batting first. Therefore, we predict Rajasthan Royals to once again win the toss and the match by choosing to bowl first.
