Star Indian All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has hoped to the top of ICC test rankings for test all-rounders. After his amazing performance with both bat and ball against Sri Lanka in the first Test in Mohali. He played a tremendous 175 runs knock with bat and remained not out. While he picked 9 wickets with the ball.

Seeing his performance at India’s recent test win against Sri Lanka in Mohali. ICC made a statement saying that his efforts and contribution to his team have made him the number 1 test all-rounder.

The left-handed all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja outranked West Indies’ Jason Holder to get back to the top spot. Which he once gained in 2017 August but for a brief period of time. 

Jadeja was awarded as player of the match for his amazing performance against Sri Lanka in Mohali. Where India won in three days by an innings and 222 runs.

Jadeja made his debut in 2012 December against England in Nagpur. He has played a total of 58matches and scored a total of 2370 runs and has taken a total of 241 wickets with an average of 24.28 and economy of 2.42.

He became the 3rd Indian player to score 150+ runs and take a five-0wicket haul in the same match, while 6th overall to achieve this milestone. And joins the first-class list of players. Which include Vinoo Mankad, Denis Atkinson, Polly Umrigar, Gary Sobers, and Mushtaq Ahmed.

Increase in Virat and Pant’s ICC ranking
