Pakistan Squad for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021: Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed its 15 player squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.

Asif Ali and Khushdil Shah were surprisingly included in the squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021, Earlier this year, played T20I matches for Pakistan against Zimbabwe and South Africa. He did not find a place in the squad for the tours of England and the West Indies.

Arif was played his 29th and last T20I for Pakistan against Zimbabwe in April. and averaged 16.38, his strike rate was 123.74, while his overall strike rate in T20 cricket is 147.

Khushdil Shah’s ninth and last T20I was against South Africa in Lahore earlier this year.

The left-handed batsman averages over 21, and his strike rate is 109.24, while his overall T20 strike rate is 134.

The Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Selector Muhammad said, “Asif Ali and Khushdil Shah may not have impressive numbers against their names but hardly anyone can doubt their tremendous talent and prowess.”

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 Schedule  for Pakistan

Pakistan Cricket Team, led by Captain Babar Azam, will begin their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup campaign against India in Dubai on October 24. Then they will face New Zealand in Sharjah on 26 October. Then on October 29, the Pakistan Cricket team will face Afghanistan in Dubai. Their final two matches in the Super 12 stages will take on Group A runners-up and Gropu B table-toppers from the first round in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah respectively.

  • 2nd T20 World Cup Pakistan vs New Zealand, 19th match, Super 12 Group 2 on October 26 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah.
  • 3rd T20 World Cup Pakistan vs Afghanistan, 24th match, Super 12 Group 2 on October 29 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.
  • 4th T2o World Cup Pakistan vs A2, 31st Match, Super 12 Group 2, on November 02 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
