The Pakistani batsmen performed admirably in the first Test despite the team’s defeat; the match was ultimately decided by their collapse on Day 5’s last session. Imam-Ul-Haq, Pakistan’s opener, scored the most runs (121 + 48), while Babar Azam, the team’s captain, scored 140 runs (136 + 4).
