Ireland Pacer Josh Little to Join CSK as a Net Bowler

Josh Little Ireland star pacer has been approached by Chennai Super Kings. To join them as a net bowler for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League 2022.

Cricket Ireland officials tweeted “Congrats to Josh who is heading off on development opportunity with Chennai Super Kings in the early stages of upcoming IPL. The experience as a net bowler for CSK should be fantastic”.

Josh little has the ability to swing the ball early on and at a fast speed as well. Little also has the ability to limit the run-flow.  CSK is a team with talented batters. This can be an amazing opportunity for josh little to enhance his bowling experience. And in the future, he can become a major asset for the Irish team.

Josh Little Cricket Career

The 22 years old pacer made his T20 debut against Hong Kong on 5^th September 2016 when he was only 16 years old. With this, he was the second-youngest to play cricket at the international level.

Josh little was included in Ireland’s T20 squad for their series against Afghanistan in India in 2017.  However, he had to withdraw himself due to educational commitments. In December 2017 he was included in Ireland’s squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

On 10^th July 2020, Josh little was included in Ireland’s 21-man squad that traveled to England for the white-ball series against England’s national Cricket team which was held behind closed doors.

Josh little was also part of the Ireland Wolves’ squad during the Ireland tour of Bangladesh. His cricket career went even high when he was included in Ireland’s provisional squad for the 2021 ICC men’s T20 World Cup.

The 22 years old talented cricketer has represented his country in 34 matches and has picked 31 wickets at an economy rate of under 7.5. He has an average of 30 with the bat as well.
